Jim Orlowski
Greetings Red Fox residents and poa board, currently I head up the road committee for our neighborhood and have participated with the improvements, such as the street signs and paving. My wife Beth has been on the social committee since its inception. I’m not retired yet, but close. I still own a metal fab shop in Landrum, specializing in entrance gates with openers and railings. Since Boyd is leaving the board, I would like the opportunity to take his place. Thank you for your consideration.
Justin Pastor – (Current board member, running for Re-Election)
Justin Pastor spent his formative years between Long Island, NY, and Charleston, SC, before relocating to North Carolina with his wife in 2021 to lay down roots and start a family. With undergraduate degrees in Applied Economics and Computer Science, Justin’s career has progressed into senior leadership. He currently serves as a Director of Service Delivery, specializing in cybersecurity and project management.
Justin brings a wealth of civic and HOA experience to Red Fox Run, having previously served as Treasurer for a condo association in New York. Since joining the Red Fox POA Board, he has been a driving force for community improvement. He proudly served as POA President in 2025, later transitioning back to a regular Board seat to balance his demanding professional role while remaining fully engaged in community governance.
During his tenure on the Board, Justin successfully spearheaded the modernization of the neighborhood’s infrastructure by overseeing three different ISPs in installing fiber internet. Leveraging his project management expertise, he held these corporate providers accountable to Red Fox’s aesthetic standards, fighting to ensure they utilized flush, in-ground vaults rather than unsightly above-ground pedestals.
In addition to infrastructure, Justin has been instrumental in streamlining Board operations, ensuring fair and consistent covenant enforcement, and protecting the privacy and rights of residents.
Beyond his commitment to the neighborhood, Justin and his wife are active volunteers with the Foothills Humane Society, where they dedicate their time to training shelter dogs to help them become more adoptable. Justin is asking for your vote to continue his work in making Red Fox Run a beautiful, connected, and well-managed place to call home.
Margo Savage-West
I came to Polk County in 1998 after retiring from Sears, Roebuck and Co. in Chicago where I was a buyer at Sears whose specialty was troubleshooting for product lines that were underperforming. My specially was to analyze trends, change things up and sometimes give senior management the bad news that a given department simply wasn’t sustainable or profitable without major changes in direction. While at Sears, I met and married my husband, Terry Savage, also a buyer at Sears.
In 1998 we retired and moved to a horse farm in Green Creek where I kept my horses and built a boarding business. I was only here a week before I was recruited to the Foothills Humane Society’s Board where I served for many years as Board Member, Secretary, Vice President and President. While at the Humane Society I established a non-profit Foothills Equine Rescue Assistance program (FERA) that is still functioning in Polk County. I also brought the Animal Cruelty Investigators Program to Polk County. After 20 years as a volunteer Animal Cruelty Investigator, I retired from that position as climbing over fences, crawling under barbed wire and trudging thru the mud weren’t things I wanted to do anymore!
But horses were my passion and I indulged that by volunteering at the Foothills Riding Club that put on several shows a year at FENCE and Harmon Field. After the person running the shows left for the great state of Montana, I took over as Show Secretary and did that job for a total of about 20 years. When the Tryon International Equestrian Center hosted the Eventing Championships and the World Equestrian Games, I was tapped to be the Lead for the Eventing Dressage portion. These was the most hectic, fun and rewarding experiences I have ever had.
Shortly after the World games my husband of 42 years (Terry) passed away and I sold my farm and moved to Fox Trail in 2021
In 2025 I married Ron West (of Renard Road) and we have taken to traveling to Civil War and Revolutionary War sites as we are both “history nuts”. Due to my traveling schedule, I handed the reins of Show Secretary to Kathy McFadden (of Hooper Creek Road).
Having lived in this community for 5 years I have come to love the community and want to do whatever I can to maintain the qualities that make this place the unique community we all love.
I have served on the Landscape Committee and the Social Committee and feel that I can contribute to the Board and my neighborhood.
