U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) contractors have begun removing Hurricane Helene debris across the county, and additional trucks will arrive later this week to support removal efforts. As the process continues, you may see trucks making multiple passes on your road. Do not be concerned if they do not pick up your debris on the first pass, as that truck may be assigned to pick up a specific type of debris. However, if you wait to put your debris out, and they come down your road to pick up the type of debris you have, there is no guarantee they will be coming back another time for that type. To ensure all storm-related debris is removed, please have it placed NOW, within ten feet of the roadway and separated by type to facilitate efficient pickup. We do not have specific schedules for when they will be on each road. Again, we strongly encourage you to have your storm debris sorted and correctly placed NOW, to be ready when they do come on your street.
